Walid speaks on Vic McCarty Show from Traverse City

Today from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, CAIR-MI's Executive Director spoke on the Vic McCarty Talk Show on WMKT 1270 AM located in Traverse City, Michigan.

During the 30 minute interview, topics were discussed such as terrorism committed by Muslims, which violates the teachings of Islam, boorish comments made by Iran's president in regards to "wiping Israel off of the map," to the ill-advised policy of profiling "Middle Easterners" soley upon their physical appearance in airports.

Although Mr. McCarty's show is carried on a "conservative" FOX radio station, which also carries the likes of Bill O'Reilly, his questions were fair and his demeanor was non-combative. We hope that more radio and television personalities attached to FOX emmulate Mr. McCarty's interview from today.
